We're talking about the dorm room project of a rich kid who stole the idea from his friends and thinks his users are "dumb f**s".

There's really no reason to expect anything from Meta except for it to do what's best for Zuckerburg.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "expect". I'm under no illusions that Facebook and its management are trash. In that sense I don't expect much. But not expecting better is letting them off the hook.

It's not your fault but we're too far down the rabbit hole of The United States of Incorporation. A company is not the Government. Intentionally so. But it's all fucked through money influence. So no, a company will never have your public interest in mind. By design.
