‘Were’? Has that changed? They got exactly what they voted for.

I was not trying to say they aren't still. I was just saying that in 2016 they were out in droves voting for him.

In 2016 the tone was wanting for an outsider not a political insider. Trump was the only outsider on the final ticket.

On the Democratic ticket Bernie Sanders would have been the outsider. But the Democratic National Committee under Debbie Wasserman Shultz made sure to avoid a vote by the people of the Democrat party and put in their chosen one, insider Hillary Clinton.
