A system where the humans value is tied to their ability to outproduce a massively more capable machine intelligence? How does that work, exactly?

Good ole mass-starvation for the majority that can't find work that appeases the ownership class? It's a unique value-system I suppose.

I'm sure that hunger has been a bigger problem in Africa and India than it has been in any socialist state in our lifetimes.

Africa's dysfunction isn't due to capitalism nor would be improved by the alternatives, as evidenced by the total collapse of Rhodesia/Zimbabwe when it was taken over by collectivists. Similarly, the proportion of Indians living in extreme poverty in India has been reduced by ~90% since it shifted to a market economy around '91.

Capitalism is already a planet-scale neural network optimizing a loss function: profit. The nodes in the network just happen to be humans.

Capitalism with AI would be exactly the same thing, but zero compassion (unless the AI has been trained for it).
