It would be lovely to trim or get rid of the ruling class but that is far more ambitious than to somewhat guard our political machine from their influence. They will of course still have influence, it just wont be their flavour of direct democracy where they always get what they want.

We should at least try to be a somewhat worthy adversary if only to keep things interesting.
