You can set it to 1h. The analysis script Claude wrote for me says I'm saving 11% over the 5m window by doing that on my API account.

It's something, at least.

Yeah my problem is that I need to toggle it between "really active constantly writing" sessions and "running a bunch of long tests and periodically pinging me about it" ones. The former are best with 5m, the latter with 1h.

Ultimately, Codex doesn't suffer from ANY of this so I'm starting to think about just using it for work subscription use as well.
