The recovery image of my laptop is based on an old Win11 build where Microsoft login is now broken. So it falls back to local account after failing. Best bug!
I recently tried to recover to stock on the Zenbook A16 I returned and the WiFi wouldn't connect. Had to dig up an old USB Ethernet adapter to make it do the job.
Windows is such a bugs galore it's crazy how people use it as their daily drivers.
