Anyone else experiencing issues in europe-west2.

According to Google it's a power outage in the London DC. Power is now restored and they are bringing up the networking.

Nice; thanks for the update, how did you find that out.

Got updates from our google reps.

Thanks for the update, better than we're getting. Shockingly bad comms - down for 3 hours and "we're looking into it" is all we can see.

Dunno why a power outage wasn't contained to a zone. The whole region seems to be down. Not the first time Google Cloud have had troubles with blast-radius of their incidents.

We have workloads up on a & c so I think it is contained to the b zone.

GCP status page is green, it's only visible in the Service Health in GCP Console when you switch to any of your project https://console.cloud.google.com/servicehealth/incidents

Multiple Google Cloud services are experiencing elevated errors and intermittent network failures in europe-west2 region.

Multiple services are experiencing issues in the europe-west2 region.

We are experiencing an issue with multiple services in europe-west2 beginning on Monday, 2026-10-19 23:08 PDT.

Our engineering team continues to investigate the issue.

We will provide an update by Tuesday, 2026-10-20 02:00 PDT with current details.

> We apologize to all who are affected by the disruption.

Yeah. It is rather mad the global health page is fine. But the page in the console actually shows an outage.

It's finally been updated: https://status.cloud.google.com/incidents/Xs2XTHzAVC9YnafnPy...

Way too slow for the scale of the outage.

They just acknowledged it. Been down for ~2 hours on our end

Yep, I'm pretty sure it was just b, we've got nothing running there now. Annoyingly one of our DBs failed to start after failover, so we're running around now.

Yes it's dead, DPD IT confirmed it was down as their services aren't running due to it but no status reports from google yet, weird

Yup, a few of our services are having "difficulties".....
