America has quite clearly given up because they know they cant, what chance has a smaller British force from Cyprus got ?

Is it worthwhile as an exercise to curry favor in the middle east?

Surely a loss of face because of failure is worse than not trying at all.

Most of the time its better to let your opponent guess than show you are useless.

When the UK is immpotent, the Saudis will be in an even worse position, because they will most definitely be practically defenseless. Today the Houthis are not sure and might be hesitant.

Oh, so now they are willing to help. Imagine if everyone would have helped from the start.

So the US/Israel starts random wars and everyone else is expected to just automatically join in? Lol.
