A conscientious read of my post would have revealed that the contention was with the characterization of, I presume, 80 hours a week in an office as 80 hours working the way most people who make $35k/yr work.

Would be curious to read about an actual PhD student who was actually on their feet for 80 hours a week, average, across a whole year, though.
