Someone called this a Dark Forest problem recently, where "everyone" is using AI, but nobody wants to admit they're using AI.

Most programmers admit to it if you ask them, its everyone else making assumptions.

I don't think most game developers will admit to it publicly because the prevailing opinion on social media is that using AI means creating slop.
