Has mistral just stopped doing open source? I feel like I haven't seen an open model from them in a while, and not many people are talking about this.

It’s a shame Voxtral isn’t open weight though.

We have voice cloning at a level that would have felt like a miracle a couple years ago, and yet doing the reverse is some sort of hush hush $$$$ work?
My only thought is the people in charge don’t want the public to know the privacy nightmare that they can now be instantly recognized snd transcribed anywhere there’s a mic
I'm not happy about it, but I can see why they would. I want to incorporate some of these things locally myself.
