Great SpaceX can finance Teslas losses via government grants (our taxes). More corporate welfare for the worlds richest man.

SpaceX has taken $20M state/local grants and about $100M for R&D on various NASA space programs. https://subsidytracker.goodjobsfirst.org/parent/space-explor...

That's over their entire lifespan. While they just made $4B in earnings in a single quarter in Q3 2026, probably $30B around in revenue for 2026... They've definitely paid far more than their subsidies back in taxes over the years.

Ya and they got those contracts when Trump gutted NASA so now we have to rely on a privately owned company for space flight. A privately owned company owned by a man who on a whim shut down starlink for Ukraine.

SpaceX got their last big sole source contract from NASA under Biden ? The grants were even earlier.

Yeah, whatever.
