Renewables and nuclear in China and other countries have really made a dent in emissions. I never expected to see it during my lifetime, very positive. Also electrification is making a lot of fossil fuel less relevant every year. It will take time though since there is so much friction. What works in one country can take decades to diffuse into the neighboring one.
