Not only that, a cleaning crew that I'm explicitly paying for via the cleaning fee. It was ridiculous, and I'm sure it drove a lot of people to choose hotels over an equivalent Airbnb.
The only draw of Airbnbs was the idea of either really dirt cheap temp accommodation, or exotic stays at fancy locations. Airbnb exited the former market, and incumbent hotels have entered and do a much better job in the latter market.
