In my opinion, companies who incur such a high penalty, also need to put the corresponding CEOs in jail for some time. It can not be that they cause so much damage to society, but the CEOs constantly escape due punishment. This is unfair - every small criminal stealing a purse, typically gets put in jail (perhaps not on first offence, but we know how severe the punishments are on repeated offences). People who cause so much damage to society, also need to be penalised appropriately with jail time. But in a land that does not want to find out how deep the Epstein network really was, anything goes. The big TechBros get protected by the law; the fine here is just peanuts for the awful Facebok empire.
