Have you seen CraftApps [0]? They are "clean room" implementations of MS Word (WordCraft), MS Excel (GridCraft) and MS PowerPoint (DeckCraft), among others.

presumably Office source code isn't in the LLM's training data. so it would be a clean room implementation of Office.

They trained an LLM on office source code, it didn't demonstrate knowledge, logic, or respect for authority so they ironically named it grok.
