Denmark abandons plans to ditch Microsoft Office after technical problems

> A pilot phase with 38 ministry employees kicked off last year to trial Collabora's suite with Office documents. However, this trial was terminated when elections took place earlier this year. A spokesperson confirmed that the experiment had concluded, and would not resume again. They also confirmed that no evaluation benchmarking Collabora's performance against Microsoft Office had taken place either.

Okay.

PS the main gripe was ODF vs. OOXML

Gripe defeats evaluation. It seems that this kind of thinking is a major contributor to the mess the world is in. Logic would have a world of cooperative societies rather than intolerant ones.

Logic be damned, and so us all.
