Heatbit Says Your Water Heater Should Be Mining Bitcoin, and Now It Can

Probably a heat pump is better. (Can I connect the heat pump to the extrerior in winter and inside the home is summer?)

If a heat ump is difficult to install, wasting the energy->heat conversion is miming is better than a plain resistor.

Why bitcoin? I'm worry the the ASIC will get old before I have to change the heater. Isn't another coin better for intermittent long term use?
