Article misses to mention that in past revolutions the potential value was in the people. With AI the potential value is inside objects (computers) so it is easier to control and centralize, easier than value in humans. No one said more advanced models in the future will be available to anyone. I feel like this revolution will go opposite way, we will go back to mercantillism or whatever.
