I'm building AllZonefiles (https://allzonefiles.io), aiming to make it the best domain data platform on the internet. It covers 380M+ domains, with daily domain lists, additions/removals, and zonefiles with nameserver data. I recently added statistics for most zones, including domain counts and growth trends.

You might be surprised by what people build with domain data.
