Tall words for someone recommending KiCad.

KiCad does an ok job. This does not even do job.

KiCad day-one was probably not what you'd call a "usable" EDA suite either.

But it was an EDA suite, not an EDA suite shaped object.

I’m sure KiCad makes super smart mega pros get really angry and fling their feces, but it has done a ton of amazing work for unimportant people like me.

So… my sincere thanks to the people that made it. I’m glad you didn’t wait for universal approval.

I love KiCad. My point is that most people would hate KiCad 1.0 just the same as they'd hate Blender 1.0.

Critiquing early releases of FOSS is a "throwing stones from glass houses" sort of situation.
