Any calls for Meta to change are useless until Mark Zuckerberg no longer holds a majority of voting shares. You have to have reforms around that first. Cambridge Analytica, the Metaverse, the New Mexico judgment... all examples of things that would have gotten any other CEO canned due to their damage to the bottom line, but Mark doesn't have to worry, because he's not going to vote himself out.

That's not true. Zuckerberg blinked when the share price hit the 90s in 2022. Despite holding the vote, he started listening to external investors more.

Know what would have been even better? Them being in a position to prevent him from doing the things he did to drive down the share price to begin with.

He gets credit when the share price goes from 300 to 95, but not when it goes from 38 to 700?

Yes. The point of the company is to make money, not lose it. There are plenty of CEOs who have made line go up, lost a bit of that line, and lost their jobs as a result. I guess they have to wipe the tears away with the money they get from the severance package. So it goes.

Considering that Zuckerberg has lost the company a lot of money on fairly obvious things, I don't see why he's special, especially when he's attracting legal attention.
