How about we stop giving your skills to these guys who are putting us out of work?

Too bad, I'll contribute less to this site now that AI infestation seems out of control.

Why would I stop publishing FOSS code? Software's ultimate destiny is freedom. It's good to propagate high-quality software that respects users, the alternative is a predatory hegemony that punishes humanity even more.

FOSS code is about people, not mass scavenging of machines that will put them to misery.

Either licensing should ban this kind of use or stop FOSS altogether, because it is like giving sugar to diabetics, "out of compassion".

But multi-billion tech companies that feed your FOSS contributions to their models do fit in that “predatory hegemony that punishes humanity even more” narrative

I'm still going to develop open source projects. They are rooted in real-world considerations that AI models have trouble understanding.

I don't think I have much choices when boss require me to create a skill.

I already lost my job. The one I have now looks nothing like it. The one I have next year will likely look even different still.

You can hide; but it's not going to end because you cover your eyes.

This why syndicalism should have thrived in the tech sector. But most devs thought that they were gods.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
