Trump says he will ban everyone from using the phrase 'artificial intelligence'

One of the first and easiest things for a person or group to do when they're establishing social dominance is to try to control the language other people use. It's an attractive move because it requires almost no effort, doesn't actually have to fix any real-world problems, but still manages to assert dominance and control over others.

I've seen this a lot over the past two decades, and once you see the pattern it becomes almost impossible to miss. The interesting thing about it that it's pure social maneuvering: there's very little substance behind it.

If this is how he chooses to spend his last five days of being relevant...

Suppose a clear moniker could be chosen rationally what would it be? (auto)regressive intelligence?

I’ll say what I want.

> There’s also this thing called the International System of Units, a scientific measurement deal that goes by its French acronym: SI.

That would probably one more reason for Trump and his supporters to choose that acronym...

I have just one question: why?

I think that this is the first truely idioic thing that I like. At one point I considered myself an absurdist, but for a while now it seems that people can no longer recognise deliberate absurdity and respond like it's something plausible, but here we are I wonder if he will bomb Switzerland for refusing him the peace prize.
