Do you have some personal financial or other incentive to be “aggressively pro AI”?

They will never admit it, but they give clues.

It makes no sense on being "aggressively pro AI" without any payment. It is like being an unpaid shill.

There are plenty of people that genuinely believe it’s going to cure cancer, solve all our problems, and end work.

Those people do not sound very rational.

Have you read Ian M Banks or Asimov? People have had utopian expectations of AI long before ChatGPT 3.5.

It's just that now, it's gone from practically fantasy to hard sci-fi.
