That's not what "tied to the dollar" means.

The yuan is not tied to the dollar, but can be traded for dollars. Same for Euros, gold, and bricks of heroin.

You missed the point. It is tied to an actual fiat currency. That was my point. USD/GBP etc etc. Again, 9/10 people who are "cypto investors" wouldnt care unless they could cash the crypto for real fiat money.

No, you missed the point. It's obviously exchangeable for other fiat currency but it's also obviously not tied to any of them or its value would be fixed.

I think you're just using words that you don't really understand. Do you know what a tied currency actually is? They do exist. Do you know what they are?
