Has Reddit ever tried making their own search work?

There is a Reddit Search, but in my experience is very underwhelming, so not sure that counts.

It hasnt worked for me a single time. Cant do the very basic operation of finding my own comment containing specific string.

Well well well, maybe if they didnt nuke old reddit I may be still willing to click on any reddit results.

Genuinely, I don't use reddit much, but really it was the awful redesign that kept me from even reading from it when it could have still offered me some value.

Yeah quality has gotten worse. Also, some mods love power a bit too much.
