No feedback present means that software has no issues and is appreciated by its users. It even may have reached a nirvana (sic) state due to the uncompromised image.

What MS does here has nothing to do with "privacy, security, and compliance regulations" at all. This strictly corporate dealing with complaining users and it's going to backfire on the company eventually.
