This is taxing communication and should not be legal. I don't see how it's different from having to pay for talking to your neighbor.

You also pay taxes on your phone bill, and on stamps, and on the paper you use to write letters.

You also already pay sales tax on your internet service, but that's not what we're discussing here

How is it different, though?

Please tax talking to my neighbour - they won't stop talking!
