At this rate ANT will end up as a division of Amazon

I always pegged Apple for ANT.. But I bet Apple is going to poach talent from Anthropic post IPO after they got their payout and are ready to move on.

There is absolutely no timeline where Apple acquires any token provider because Apple doesn't sell tokens.

The new Siri is Gemini rebranded, so Apple does sell tokens, they just charge for it as a bundle with the hardware.

No. It’s actual models from Apple, trained from gemini outputs, which is not the same as reselling gemini.

Is this supposed to be clever? Their assets serve their business (you know ... like any normal company) and that business is selling tokens.

Companies are frequently acquired for reasons outside their core business, but rather other assets and value they hold.

Is knowing that and pointing it out particularly clever? I wouldn't have thought so.

Apple not "selling tokens" doesn't preclude them from purchasing a company that does.
