Well, you can't. Way before you get anywhere near the speed of light, random hydrogen atoms floating in space become hard radiation that will rip you to shreds. The idea of manned ships traveling at those speeds is complete fantasy.

It's still too slow to go anywhere but the nearest solar systems to Earth, and even that would require you to spend a decade or two in space. For comparison, the longest continual time spent in space is 14 months.
