I vibecoded a 2d pixel game in 6h yesterday

For the other stages I just transcribed my voice and it usually one shotted 95%. I made tweaks as needed to monsters or gameplay.
Music and sound effects was from https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page. Victory music from https://stocktune.com/free-music/pixelated-dreamscape-quest-...
What amazed me was the amount of taste claude had out of the box. The word taste might be overused, but claude made the church on the first stage perfectly. As well as the castle in the last stage. It knew what details to add to make it look real, I barely had to add detail.
That’s totally fine but it does mean reliance on an additional paid service outside of a conventional LLM. Is that what you did?
It's weird that I must press "next" with the mouse. I prefer "only keyboard" except for the bow.
The ceiling of the cave does not block arrows.
I'll kill the hydra later...
I just made any key press suffice to pressing "next".
Also made the ceiling block arrows now.
Let me know when you finish the game and what you think of it!
Yep, I agree. And you would not believe how crazy is the situation here in Math.
I think it's an interesting remark for a comment, but not for the title.
> Also made the ceiling block arrows now.
Nice. The arrows of my teammates still pass through the ceiling.
It would be nice that when the bats colide with the rock at the top, they go back like 1/3 of the screen and then return. I didn't understand why my teammates attacked the bat, because it was not harmful. Until I got a lucky surprise.
I killed the hydra, but I'll try to kill the big_bad_bat when I have more time.
I didn't like the 1 2 3 mechanics. I prefer to aim and shot arrows. But it falls in "it's your game, not mine".

Many years ago I played "BowMaster Prelude" https://www.lostvectors.com/prelude/index.html It uses flash, so it's dead now, but it's similar to https://www.lostvectors.com/bowmasterlegacy/demo/october2020...
Some ideas to copy:
* Headshot! Like x2 damage at the head, so it's important to aim.
* Bigger maps, so there is more time to shot and aim. I like the bow more than the sword. Also, you can increase the amount of (low health) enemies.
* Some magical/explosive arrows (???)
Haha, them taking a deuce was a deliberate touch ;)
Thanks for the thoughts, maybe I will make a part 2 sometime. This was a quick experiment and turned out great
p.s.: you can skip a stage by pressing 8. I made this to test quickly
:)
