Just buy a standard USB drive and encrypt it with Bitlocker. If you hate MS then use Veracrypt.

And if you cut or burn your finger or the sensor gets damaged in your pocket?

I have friends who have been locked out of their phone because they put all their trust in the fingerprint reader.

And forgot their PIN/password? That Apple forces you to use every 8 days or so?

if you use apple.com/icloud.com it will force user to use mfa every 1 hour. Apple got horrible engineering.

Apple is not the only phone vendor.

If you don't believe your hardware than a FR wouldn't help you.
