The nice thing about Michael Scott is that while he is a self-absorbed and very flawed manager and human, he also genuinely cares a great deal about his employees.

What? Like his main character shtick is that he's a selfish asshole that will abuse his workers on a whim.

How do you watch that show and not notice that he's supposed to be the worlds worst, selfish, narcissist ?

Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame) worked in an office for many years, and so he had credibility in making funny observations about it.
