Aren't the 99% received salary for their work and produced this after being fully paid what they agreed voluntary for their work?

If my house was build by 10 people, can they just get the house back after I've paid them?

A more honest analogy would be that they'd build an identical house for themselves.

They can. Not on the same land and not from the same budget.

I've been making people redundant all my life with automations, including myself, and willingly so.

It's only fair and logical that the redundancy machine has come for the job of the redundancy engineers.

I'm with you. I hate all of this, and it's frustrating as someone who loves to code, but also this feels like just desserts for the SV crowd. Not everything needs to be simplified, not everything needs to be commodified.

So what are you telling your wife/kids? Or are you single with no dependents? Or maybe you already made it to financial independence and that's where the carefree attitude comes from? Not criticizing, just curious.

I think this is reaching more into the concept that extracting the value of labor of others is exploitation.

Is it extracting, if the labor has been paid the agreed price he wanted to be paid?

Am I extracting labor from the mechanic who fixes my car and gets paid by me to do the job?
