There’s enough videos in that pile to watch for a long time. I don’t think HackerTube needs to keep pulling updated comments.

And if it’s frozen in time there won’t be any reason to spam irrelevant YouTube links to HS either.

I honestly think even this site is too much of a barrier to the source (besides too nerdy) for people to bother getting through the source link, register an account and post.
