Does the size (below 1GB) and speed of launch (less than minute per day or so) matter that much? It feels like you forgot to mention running utility programs on small embedded computers, microcontrollers even, is your priority.
Developers should have higher performance standards now that DX matters way less (you're not writing code by hand anyway).
