Like a lot of other activities that got automated and done cheaper and faster by machines you may have to do writing and coding as a hobby. It's sort of sad but that's how technological progress always has worked.
But for some creative works, the value is not in fast or cheap. I don't care how fast a good book is created, as long as it's good. And so far, I have read many fantastic books written by humans. I have never read a fantastic book written by AI.
Not saying it doesn't exist. I simply have never seen it.
