Can we get the ability to delete posts on Hackers News?

The little "hide" link under each post works for me

I am not seeing anything that can hide or delete posts on HN. If you are talking about the minus button that is to collapse post threads. Other people can still read your posts.

This topic is now buried, but I guess you'll see comment replies.

The "hide" link is visible on the main page, before you go to the comments. Example for the current #1:

Astra can read and write weights to improve Qwen (rikiyat.github.io)

If you want to delete your own submissions, I don't see a way to do that.
