Which is the price Canonical chooses to charge, like they could charge money for this and they don't because they'd rather eat the loss for personal users for the advertising capability.

Handing over a hot lead and a set of good information is not, "free!"

It was, however, a reasonable bargain to make, but that is no longer the case when they do not hold up their end of the deal like this.

They also choose to ask for your donation when you download the software, plus a suggested amount. I guess we can infer from your response which direction you chose to drag the slider.
