Sports gambling has been illegal in most of the US for like… ever. A very long time. It was fine.

People are acting like we’re going to 1984. No, we’d be going back to the status-quo a few years ago.

We tried the whole “legalize sports betting” thing, really we did. We gave it an honest shot. But it turns out everyone was right all along: it causes a lot of problems for a lot of people, it’s complex legally, and it offers no benefit to society.
