this all seems like wasted cycles to me. Why dont we just strike the name from common parlance after someth*ng falls off the frontier of science? The focus on caring about who figured it seems foolish vs figuring the next thing, especially when everybody is probably dead or has dementia by now.
Imagine being so good at your job that someone else greatest intellectual achievement is looking at your presentation.
Now imagine it being scrapped by an LLM and metered back to you. Interesting times, no?
