Good. I was bitten by Intel's voltage issues in their 13th gen CPUs. Then again in the 14th gen replacement. They appear bloated, complacent and I hope AMD eats their lunch.
The problem is AMD doesn't do their own manufacturing anymore. Intel is the only large scale CPU manufacturer left in the US. That's of strategic national importance. You should want them to be good (assuming you're American, or really, not Chinese).
I'm not sure what China has to do with anything - China's fabs are stuck at 193nm wavelengths - while TSMC (Taiwan)/Samsung (Korea)/...(whatever other customers ASML has) are at 13.5nm... they're a literal order of magnitude behind and produce no high performance chips of commercial relevance.
I did want them to be good. As in not selling me CPUs that melt. If they can't manage that, their being American does nothing for me.
