I have very little hope, given that the DSA is dragging the Democrats around still. I don't see why this pendulum swing won't increase the amplitude of the swing instead of lowering it and us getting to some centrist sanity.
The DSA only has 8 members in the house and 1 member in the senate (if you count Bernie). The Dem majorities are still majorities even if DSA members aren't counted.
