anyone else notice this was written by claude (although its not 100% perfect claude language, im guessing josef tried to prompt claude ticks away and was only half successful).

Yeah, it's baffling to me that someone who did a bunch of original reporting would then be fine pushing it all through a Claude slop machine that makes everything so much harder to read and adds redundancy on redundancy into the text. The same points are made 5 or 6 times evenly spaced through the piece because the AI writing is doing local optimization at the expense of global organization.

Maybe he didn't do any original reporting, but just prompted Claude to write a science fiction story where a reporter visits some fictional factories in China and blogs about it?

Every time the article said, "I did such and such a thing," I thought, "No, Claude, you did not do that. You don't have a body. You're making this up."

He has photos of him inside of different factories inside of China, including a Unitree one.

So, maybe the faked text in the post is documenting a real visit because maybe he didn't fake the photos, only the text?
