I'm not saying it's wrong, but the fact that only YC companies can post jobs here is the very definition of favoritism. I'm also pretty sure that their posts go straight to the front page without needing any upvotes.
Their job listings go straight to number 1 and decay at a fixed rate. Other postings (links/text) are subject to the normal submission ranking formula.
