Well, GPA shouldn't be tricky at all if you have what it takes to work at Google.

This means, unless you were fed up with the educational system like I was and you purposely did a mediocre performance, you probably aced them.

GPA has pretty much F/A to do with your application if you're not looking for an Internship.

As a student you should probably understand correlation and causative factors better :p

Granted that I've been in the industry a while, but although I did get asked for my GPA, it wasn't until after I was about to receive the offer letter and they were checking references. My guess is that it's just a spot on the form that they still have to fill out.

When recruiters contact you, GPA doesn't tend to come up at all, at least in my experience.
