Ask HN: Will you help me study Computer Science?
I need your help to go back to school! For over a year and a half due to a complex financial situation, I have not been able to finish my first degree. I have been able to do amazing things in that time - such as attend Thinkful, Starter League, and start a startup - but really aim to graduate.
And by graduate, I want to graduate in Computer Science! Technology is impacting every part of our lives and as more people come online and more people have access to the internet and mobile devices, things will only accelerate. We see how technology has changed our lives so much over the past even 5 years and I plan to be right in the middle of all that commotion.
I go into details here (https://www.crowdtilt.com/campaigns/apply-to-penn-in-30-days/description) but you many be wondering why I am unlike anyone else struggling to pay for school. Good question. Because of our situation, we had to pay all tuition out of pocket and at the end of each semester. So when we were unable to, I became ineligible for either any student loans, financial aid, or any scholarships.
The money I am raising is meant to reinstate me to be able to finance my education once again as many of you have or currently are. With your support, we can make this thing happen! Thanks for reading this.
