I am planning to start a service to manage startup hosting. I think that would help people a lot!

I work on my startups alone. Hosting isn't the hardest thing for me. But managing costs, and keeping them low needs time and research. Like AWS has high price and Hetzner is cheap. So, migrating to cheap platforms, is that hard?

I built the landing page and currently Building the product. I want feedback on the idea and the landing page both. For how it will work, it will work by sending emails to the user and their family. I will add the detailed steps on the landing page.

I think this is better off with me being a reliable source. Because what's the point if user dies and forgets to pay self hosting server bills? That will still be a huge responsibility for the user.

What about $2 per month to try, if the user likes they can move to $149 lifetime plan?

It's for people who don't know how to write code and want to build a SaaS. They just tell me the idea and I will build it. They keep the revenue!

Like Once. I can add a one time payment model, but installing it on a computer won't work. Because if the data is just stored on a computer: 1) it's not safe. 2) it's not reliable, the computer could stop working.

For one time payment, I agree I will need to implement that.

What feature do you think would be better for bringing trust to you and all users? Because I agree there could be a huge trust issue. I will encrypt the data, but would people trust it?

The data will be kept encrypted in the database and will not be shared with anyone until you die.

Also, it's not just for secrets. It's for business too.

Think you are running a SaaS and something happens to you. What will happen to the business? Someone has to know what you have to do to run the server, to manage the database.

It's like having a backup with you forever so that your family can get your journals, "how to run my business" stuff ready.
