That's pretty neat. I really like how simple and concise the website you shared is! If you're screen-sharing during a meeting and have Unblah running, will the other people see it (or is it blocked for privacy the way an email notification is)?
I think true acts of kindness are difficult to achieve because something that you might find "kind", I might not, and vice versa. I think if you truly want to make people happy and do nice things for them you need to know them, their situation, what they're doing well with, what they're struggling with. Being tricked into holding random flowers wouldn't have made my day.
It's kind of depressing that art can be owned privately and stored away. If this was never donated to NGS then I doubt any private owners would have had it x-rayed and the self portrait would never have been discovered.
With rent prices like this it's impossible to save money for a down payment in the future and then you're trapped in a cycle of renting unless you can increase your income, which let's be honest, easier said than done!
Yeah it's definitely a bit peculiar. You'd think they could have done some more research into the makeup of the material they'd be processing, get a good understanding of the needs of the machinery...
Costco stresses me out! It's always so crowded, they move stock around so I can never find anything and the lines to check out are huge! BUT I do love how wide the aisles are.
Growing up in a household where we'd be constantly reminded of the longest day of the year and then have summer vacation reminders of "the days are getting shorter now" I'm not sure how I feel about this statistic...
I wonder if in the future this could be used to help care for people in long term hospital stays who are unable to brush/floss, or people who require at home care. Very interesting idea but I think it will take a long time for the general public to adopt this tech.
